QHSE SPECIALIST

RewAir is a multinational company that provides composite material kitting solutions and acts as an outsourcing partner for major OEMs in the wind energy sector and for dedicated manufacturers of composite materials for wind applications. For the plant of Taranto we are looking for an experienced and driven QHSE Specialist to join our QHSE Department. This role will lead the implementation and maintenance of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems, ensuring compliance with the highest international ISO standards and Italian legislation, while driving continuous improvement across operations.


Description of the position

The QHSE Specialist works directly with the QHSE Leader and in coordination with QHSE inspectors and cross-functional departments (Production, Engineering, HR, Finance, and others).

The role is responsible for:

  • Implementing and maintaining integrated QHSE Management Systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
  • Ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, including Legislative Decree 81/2008 and environmental regulations
  • Supporting risk assessments and maintaining the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) in collaboration with RSPP
  • Managing quality control plans (incoming, in-process, and final inspections)
  • Leading internal audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Managing non-conformities, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture through training, communication campaigns, toolbox talks, and HSE initiatives
  • Overseeing environmental compliance, including AUA (Autorizzazione Unica Ambientale) requirements
  • Preparing QHSE performance reports and improvement plans for senior management
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to audits, training, PPE issuance, and compliance activities

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing integrated QHSE systems
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001)
  • Solid understanding of Italian QHSE legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with RSPP, RLS, and competent medical professionals
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
